MIDEAST is a mailing list for the distribution of information, articles, news, reports, urgent actions, press releases and other essays about human rights and democracy in the Middle East and North Africa. It is coordinated by Derechos Human Rights and membership in the list is open to everyone.
For the purpose of this list, the following countries are said to belong to the Middle East and North Africa: Algeria, Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Irak, Iran, Israel & the Occupied Territories, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lybia, Morocco and Western Sahara, Oman, the Palestinian Authority, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen. You can find human rights reports and other information on this countries at our website.
